TIRED EYED COMPANY is a collective co-founded by Selene Martello and Dario Wilmington.

Since 2021/2022, they have been developing choreographic works at the intersection of dance, performance, and sound.

Their practice focuses on the exploration of physical and mental states, atmospheric spaces, and the translation of inner tensions into a distilled, often restrained movement language.

As a result, the collective developed further productions in collaboration with the Nationaltheater Mannheim, the Avant Garde Dance Company, and Stadttheater Pforzheim, including the works

The artistic language of Tired Eyes Collective is characterized by an experimental choreographic approach that engages with themes such as exhaustion, perception, emotional ambivalence, and inner apathy. Alongside stage works, the collective creates interdisciplinary formats in which movement, voice, and sound merge into cohesive performative experiences. Dario Wilmington contributes his work as a composer and sound designer to the projects, while Selene Martello plays a central role in conceptual and dramaturgical development. Tired Eyes Collective understands itself as an open artistic space that views movement as an expression of contemporary lived realities and consciously questions traditional forms of dance and choreography.
